Attracted by traditional Moroccan culture and art at from very young age, Abdelahad BELGHAZI preferred to spend his spare hours and school holidays in the workshops of the great craftsmen of Fez admiring them creating their masterpieces. This passion turned, subsequently, into real love for Moroccan and oriental handicrafts.

The family museum, “DAR BELGHAZI,” the largest in Africa, collecting traditional Moroccan outfits and jewelry, dating back to the 15th century, was a second opportunity for the creator to immerse himself into Moroccan culture and art. Decided to turn his passion into a real job, Abdelahad BELGHAZI conducted research on Moroccan and Islamic art and culture, in addition to an academic training in interior design. After several trips to the four corners of the world, to get acquainted to other international handicrafts, Abdelahad BELGHAZI decided to created his own LINE, incarnating tradition and modernity, baptized the “BELGHAZI LUXURY HOUSE.”

Convinced that research and innovation are key to success, BELGHAZI Abdelahad plunges into history to make you discover embroideries and other ancient Moroccan crafts (Feutring, Takecharte), reproduced on modern and easy to wear luxury prêt-à-porter collections. Séduit dès son jeune âge par la culture et l’art traditionnels marocain, Abdelahad BELGHAZI a préféré passer ses heures libres et ses vacances scolaires dans les ateliers des grands artisans de Fès pour les admirer en train de travailler leurs chefs-d’œuvre artisanaux. Cette passion s’est transformée, par la suite, en un vrai amour pour l’artisanat marocain et oriental.

Le musée familial « DAR BELGHAZI », le plus grand d’Afrique, collectionnant des tenues et bijoux traditionnels marocains, remontant au 15ème siècle, était une deuxième occasion pour le créateur de connaître de près l’art et la culture marocains. Décidé de faire de sa passion un vrai métier, Abdelahad BELGHAZI a mené des recherches sur l’art et la culture marocains et islamiques, en plus d’une formation académique portant sur l’architecture d’intérieur.

Après plusieurs voyages dans les quatre coins du monde pour faire connaissance des autres produits artisanaux internationaux, Abdelahed BELGHAZI a décidé de créer sa propre LIGNE,  incarnant la tradition et la modernité, Baptisée « BELGHAZI MAISON DE LUXE ».
